Julian Daniel

I joined Rotary in 2000, having been invited to join what was then called Ferndown Rotary Club by a friend, Mike Core, who was also a Rotarian and a founder member of the club.
My career from leaving school was with Barclays Bank, and latterly as an Independent Financial Consultant until I retired. The idea of working with new friends to help those, both locally and Internationally, who were less fortunate than ourselves or who had suffered from disasters, proved to be very rewarding.
The friendship and fellowship appealed to me and the charitable works in which the club was involved, thing like the internal social events, inter club sporting competitions such as Darts, Boules and various other events to many to mention.
After some 22 years I still enjoys the activities of the club and helps wherever possible with the various fund raising projects and activities.
