John Walgrove

I was introduced to the Rotary Family in 1994 in The Rotary Club of Hounslow in West London.
Over the next few years I progressed through several Offices and became President of the Club in 2001 .
In my year, we were honoured with a visit from the RIBI President.
In 2002 my Wife and I moved house to Market Drayton in North Shropshire .I transferred my Rotary Membership to The Rotary Club of Market Drayton.
Owing to the sudden illness of the incoming President, I again took the office for the year , which was very successful ,and again we were visited by the current RIBI President.
In 2012 the same vacancy came up, and I took the chair again for that year. During that year, to my delight, I was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship.
My membership of Market Drayton club continued until 2017,when the club closed due to lack of active Members.
In 2021 my Wife and I moved house to Ferndown where I joined the Rotary Club of Ferndown and Parley
